Nathan Scott

Nathan Scott is a PhD student at KEDRI under the supervision of Prof. Nikola Kasabov, Prof Giacomo Indiverdi (INI ETH/U.Zurich), and Prof Zeng-Guang Hou (IA, Chinese Academy of Sciences). His thesis explores methods of probabilistic neuromorphic and neurogenetic computing for spatio- and spectro-temporal pattern recognition with applications for neuroinformatics data and neurorehabilitation.

He received a BCIS(Hons)(First Class) under Prof Kasabov's supervision, where he was awarded Top Graduate, and BCIS and BBus degrees where he was awarded Top Conjoint Graduate and Best Final Year Project, all from AUT. He was also awarded the Vice Chancellor's Doctoral Scholarship and the Convergent Science Network of Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems Capo Caccia Fellowship.
